Man who got scouted as a model from his mugshot now earns an eye watering amount

The estranged wife of model Jeremy Meeks has claimed that her ex-spouse is earning $1 million a month.

Meeks, who is better known as the "Hot Felon" became a huge hit in 2014 after his mugshot went viral leading him to receiving several high-profile modelling contracts.

The 33-year-old has now come under fire from Melissa Meeks as the two continue their divorce proceedings.

TMZreport that Melissa has declared her income, which is said to be $10,000 a month as a nurse, with $11,000 in expenses.

In contrast, she estimates that Jeremy is raking in $1 million a month, thanks to his modelling work but it is not known if she has seen any of his accounts or paperwork.

The Daily Mail report that in the documents she has written:

I am not yet sure of his income, but I am sure it is more than mine.

The two are recently separated after images on emerged of Jeremy with the Topshop heiress Chloe Green.

Since then, the two have appeared in multiple posts on each other's social media accounts.

Prior to his rise to fame police regarded Jeremy as "one of the most violent criminals in Stockton, California".
