Johnny from Karate Kid says bullying is wrong

It's Anti-Bullying Week in the UK, so this video from the US couldn't be more timely.

The name William Zabka might not instantly mean anything to most people, but the character he played, Johnny Lawrence, might.

Johnny is the chief tormentor of Daniel LaRusso in 1984's The Karate Kid, where the eponymous kid turns to karate to fight back against the bullies.

Fast forward to today and Zabka, along with at least one other of his Cobra Kai brothers, is preaching a decidedly anti-bullying message. He was invited to the Kickmasters Karate dojo in Clarysville, Maryland, in the US, to raise awareness, and also to explain why Johnny might not really be the villain he appears to be in the film.

Bullying is never cool... not when you can be the hero in your own story
