Let’s face it: everyone hates a spoiler – especially when it’s a hotly anticipated Marvel movie as big as Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Scrolling through social media and avoiding unsolicited plot twists, memes and reactions is an adrenaline sport – and borderline impossible. You can mute all the related words in the world, but there will always be one person that slips through the net and gives too much away.
Enter: Kim Kardashian.
The reality star showcased a series of snaps of Spider-Man’s pivotal moments to her 274 million Instagram followers. Taken from the comfort of her home’s private movie theatre, one of the photos showed a key moment from the film’s climactic third act – and people were fuming.
“I’ve muted everything Spider-Man related on all my socials to avoid spoilers since I’m watching it tomorrow …. Just for Kim Kardashian to post a whole f***ing spoiler on her ig,” one Twitter user raged.

“Why did @KimKardashian just post Spider-Man spoilers on her IG story like she don’t got millions of followers,” one quizzed.
Another furious fan added: “Spent a week avoiding spoilers on TikTok and Twitter for Spider-Man No Way Home only for @KimKardashian to spoil it on IG.”

Even the No Way Home stars urged people to not spoil the movie’s surprises for other fans. During a campaign, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon said: “We just wanted to put out a little message asking that when you guys do see the movie, please don’t spoil it for anyone.”
Released on December 17, Spider-Man: No Way Home has since become the first pandemic-era movie to hit $1 billion.
During the movie’s release weekend, Kardashian joined rumoured love interest, Pete Davidson, at a local Staten Island movie theatre.
Ahhhh, Kim.
