On Saturday morning Donald Trump went on one of his strangest Twitter rants to date.

Hitting out at worrying claims featured in Michael Wolff's damning book, the President told his 46 million followers he was "a very stable genius" and "like, really smart."

Needless to say, everyone had a lot of fun with the President's comments and Twitter was soon awash with jokes and memes.

Not wanting to miss out on the fun, Barack Obama's former White House photographer Pete Souza contributed his own joke to the stream.

He shared a photograph of Mr. Obama, staring reflectively at the ground accompanied with the caption ", really smart..."

This isn't the first time that Souza has taken the opportunity to mock Trump with his photographs.

In February 2017 he threw shade on Trump's White House media blackout.

Then in November, he trolled the President by uploading an image of all the appearances that Obama had made on the cover of Time magazine.
