Man 'chokes 14-year-old who he claims bullied daughter'

A Brisbane man has been charged after he allegedly attacked a 14-year-old boy who he claims tormented his step-daughter.

The man, who is reported to be 53-years-old, tracked the alleged bully down and confronted him at a skate park in Brisbane.

Footage obtained by 7 News shows the argument between the pair boil over.

The video shows the man yelling and pointing at the boy, before grabbing him by the neck and appearing to choke him.

The teen's friends intervene, dragging the man back and yelling:

Get off him!

The boy reported the incident to the police, showing them photos of the alleged scuffle.

The man has now been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and will face court.
