Just hours after landing in London on Monday, Donald Trump was complaining about having to watch CNN,which is the only prominent US news network available in the UK.

As we all know, Trump is a big fan of Fox News and watches it for an unhealthy amount of time each day, but unfortunately for the president Fox News isn't available in the UK.

Although Trump didn't mention Fox in his tweets, he did complain about CNN broadcasting nothing but negative and fake news about the United States and bizarrely called upon AT&T to do something about it.

Before going on one of his routine Twitter rants, Trump should have perhaps done some research as to why CNN is available in the UK and Fox News isn't.

As Vox reports, CNN International is available in 200 countries around the world including the UK. Up until 2017 the same could have been said for Fox.

However, it's parent company 21st Century Fox pulled it from the airwaves two years ago after they deemed it to have been a commercial failure.

It should also be noted that in November 2017, Ofcom found that Fox News was guilty of breaking impartiality rules on UK television, especially in relation to the Manchester Arena bombing and Trump's executive order, which banned Muslim's from seven different nations from entering the United States.

Given that this would have been fairly common knowledge to those in the know, people soon started to respond to Trump's outburst with this small nugget of truth.

So, if Trump does intend in coming back to the UK and watch his favourite TV show then he best bring along a VPN or at least get some sort of satellite dish set-up.
