While the fire he drew for his comments about "shithole countries" still rages, Donald Trump is now facing further uproar after reportedly calling a female intelligence analyst a "pretty Korean lady" and pressing her on where she was from.

Trump asked the analyst where she was from, last Autumn, after she had finished briefing the President "on the impeding release of a family long held in Pakistan", according to two officials who spoke to NBC News,

Allegedly, her response of "New York" wasn't what Trump wanted, nor was "Manhattan".

When the President pressed again, asking her where "your people" were from, she responded that her parents were Korean, the report read.

Trump then asked an advisor in the room why the "pretty Korean lady" wasn't negotiating with North Korea, the officials said.

The analyst reportedly was trained in hostage policy, not diplomacy.

Democratic Representative Judy Chu of California wrote on Twitter that, if true, the exchange is both sexist and racist, and that this is the latest evidence that Trump is unfit to hold office.

Democratic Representative Ted Lieu suggested that the President should resign over the remarks, if he did not understand the offence caused.

Trump began his Presidential campaign by implying that all Mexican immigrants were "rapists" and argued with parents of a Muslim soldier killed serving the US.

In a meeting with members of the Congressional Black Caucus in March, Trump was reportedly surprised none of them know fellow black person and the only black member of his Cabinet, Ben Carson.

In August, the President said some of the people who marched at the side of white supremacists and neo-Nazis in rallies at Charlottesville were "very fine people".
