In this digitally connected age, throwing a hissy fit via text could make you a trending sensation.

That's exactly what happened to Matt Connolly's driving instructor who apparently lost it when he supposedly found out his student was taking extra lessons from someone else.

Connolly tweeted the apparent exchange:

Connolly had sent a softly-worded message to his instructor, informing the teacher that he'd be picking up some extra lessons from someone else.

Connolly's driving test was looming, and he wanted to get a bit of extra practice in before the big day. After all, you can never have too many goes at parallel parking, right?

Except his driving instructor isn't a fan of sharing

Connolly's tweet has been shared over 30,000 times, and he told Metro:

I decided not to reply to him because I was happy enough to swap instructors

Take note: the relationship between driving instructor and student is a sacred bond.
