You can have a three-course meal at McDonald's this Valentine's Day

Nothing quite says romance like a Big-Mac, fries, chicken nuggets and a McFlurry, does it?

If you just happen to be one of those soppy romantics who always wanted to go to Maccy D's on Valentine Day then your prayers have been answered.

A chain of the fast-food giant in Newcastle is offering couples the chance to enjoy some of McDonald's finest cuisine on February 14.

The restaurant in the Newcastle Metrocentre is offering patrons a three-course meal for the reasonable price of just £20.

It's hardly a candlelit meal at your favourite Italian restaurant, but a night out at McDonald's is a lot cheaper and at least you'll know in advance exactly what the food tastes like.

They are offering couples this experience from 7 - 9 pm, but you have to email in advance to book your slot.

So, if you are in the Newcastle area and fancy a quarter-pounder, a large coke and an apple pie this Valentine's, you know what to do.

However, McDonald's aren't the only high street eatery offering lovers a food solution this Valentine's.

Gregg's stores in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and Cardiff are also open for business.

Hmmm... do you go for a cheeseburger or a steak bake while you stare into your partner's eyes? This is what love is all about, right?
