It should come as no surprise to you that being a mother is an extremely difficult and an oftentimes underappreciated job.

One woman has decided to literally illustrate her frustrations to show her husband and it's an amazing sight.

Meet Mattea Goff, she's married to Kris and they have two children, Seleste, 5, and Aurora, 5 months old.

On Thursday 11 October, Mattea was struggling to find the best way to convey how stressed and exhausted she is to her husband, as he was struggling to understand just why she was so cranky in the morning.

That's where the idea of drawing the problem came about, and she posted the art on Facebook.

The insightful drawings will surely resonate with anyone who has experienced starting a family.

After the comic gained some attention, Mattea wanted to clarify something:

Speaking to Scary Mommy, Matteo said:

The response has been amazing and almost 100% positive. It’s fantastic how much support and encouragement has surrounded this thing. I never, ever expected it to get this much love.

Matteo was quick to clarify that her husband is in fact incredibly supportive and does contribute a lot.

Inspired by his wife's work, her husband Geoff has started his own Facebook page featuring more cartoons, called STICK with me--Home of #UselessNipples
