People are sharing the most uplifting pictures of Britain from Google Maps – and they are incredible

If you've lived in Britain for any amount of time you'll realise that there is a fair amount of beauty in these isles.

But because the vast majority of the population live in towns and cities, we're probably not likely to have seen much of what the countryside has to offer.

However, if you get out of your routine and venture to the coast or the countryside there are miles and miles of beautiful landscapes out there, just waiting to please your eyes.

Over on Reddit, users are spreading positivity by scouring the UK on Google Street View and posting links to the most stunning scenery that they can find.

The results will not disappoint and are likely to encourage to get out of the house a bit more.
