Waterstones is now literally a tourist trap

American tourist David Willis seemingly got trapped inside Waterstones Trafalgar Square bookshop last night - and was freed due to the power of Twitter.

This was Mr Willis's first tweet:

According to their website, Waterstones in Trafalgar Square closes at 9pm - which means Mr Willis was trapped in for slightly over three hours. Enough time for Waterstones to write a blog of suggestions of what to read when you are trapped in a book shop.
