Where in the world killer whales and dolphins are held captive

Ever since acclaimed documentary Blackfish was released in 2013, SeaWorld has been fighting a PR battle to justify keeping killer whales in captivity.

As this chart from Statista shows, a near-majority of orcas are held in the US, where SeaWorld parks are based.
