14 of the most iconic selfies from 2016

2016 has less than a week left on the clock, and what a year it has been.

Leonardo DiCaprio finally won that coveted Oscar he’s been working so hard for; Ed Balls did Gangnam Style on Strictly Come Dancing and Austria rejected the far right in favour of Independent Alexander Van der Bellen.

It hasn’t all been roses though – 2016 has taken musical legend George Michael, whose death comes as the latest in a string of celebrities bowing out, and Donald Trump will soon have the nuclear codes as the result of a controversial US presidential win.

Phew.
