Snakes on a Plane could be pointed to as a prime example of 'not messing about'.
To quote a famous slogan, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
There's snakes. They are on a plane. That's what you've signed up for.
Samuel L Jackson's character's only memorable quote from the movie is:
I have had it with these motherf---ing snakes on this motherf---ing plane!
You know where you stand with that film.
A recent Reddit thread discussed what other films would be titled if they followed the example of Snakes on a Plane and were as literal as possible.
We've mocked up a few of the suggestions into posters:
1. Jurassic Park/Jurassic World
