Theresa May's speech to the Tory party conference was interrupted by the prankster behind the Lee Nelson character, and it just reminded everyone how bad that show was.
He must be gutted he was upstaged by a sore throat.
In 2010, comedian Simon Brodkin went on air with Lee Nelson's Well Good Show, which contained jokes about a dim witted working class teenager that would have been funny and original in 2001.
Since the show went off air in 2011, Brodkin has been involved in a variety of practical 'jokes', such as throwing money at Sepp Blatter.
On Wednesday, sat close to the front of the Tory party conference hall in Manchester, Brodkin stood up and attempted to hand Theresa May a P45 form.
Hi @BorisJohnson, I gave Theresa her P45 just like you asked. https://t.co/gzW0UluDMv— SIMON HAS MOVED PAGE (@SIMON HAS MOVED PAGE) 1507116459

He claimed he had been asked by Boris Johnson to hand it to her.
He was quickly escorted from the conference hall, to cheers from the audience there.
A lot of people watching were unified in a singular thought:
