One Direction's Louis Tomlinson called BBC presenter Stephen Nolan a 'little s**t' in an interview

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson and BBC presenter Stephen Nolan shared a bizarre interview this week in which they appeared to be mortal enemies one moment and BFFs the next.

The boyband had to cancel one of their gigs in Belfast because Liam Payne had fallen ill - leading to legions of heartbroken fans.

While the other members of the band rested backstage, Tomlinson came out to speak to Nolan about their new single "Perfect".

Things started off cordially enough.

Tomlinson:

Perfect. Yeah, the new single. Have you heard it?

Nolan:

No. Do you want me to tell you the truth? No, I have not.

Er, and then it seemed to get frosty.

Tomlinson:

You should have. You should have before you spoke to me [gives passive-aggressive slap on shoulder].

Nolan:

No, I have not. I can spoof you. No.

Tomlinson:

You little shit.

Nolan:

Don't touch me.

And then it all went back to normal again.

Nolan:

Tell me about it.

Tomlinson:

No, yeah, so it's our second single of the new album. I suppose it's not kind of a standard love song, it's more about being in the moment and less about like marriage and soppy stuff y'know.

Right.

Nolan then topped it all off by tweeting the incident and referring to himself in the third person.

What a time to be alive.
