Australian actress Margot Robbie is a superfan of popular dating on an island reality show, Love Islandand has revealed her favorite contestant on the newest season.

The Harley Quinn star has also admitted her love for the show on other occasions. In an exclusive story on Mirror UK, she said that despite her being in the United States for work, she makes sure to tune in “every night” to the ITV2 reality show.

When it comes to her favorite contestant on the show, Robbie said: “I love Liberty. She is my favourite, for sure.”

Liberty Poole, a marketing student is coupled up with water engineer Jake Cornish.

She also talks about how captivating a dating show such as Love Island is, saying, “It’s incredible how much you care about these people you have never met.”

Robbie’s comments on the reality show come a little less than a week after celebrating her 31st birthday with a bang, by turning her home into the ‘Casa Amor’ house, just like the Majorcan villa that many tune in to see what happens next with the eligible dating suitors.

Although Robbie is seemingly taking a break from Instagram, snaps of the Love Island-themed party were shared by model Kelly Gale, who goes by @kellybellyboom on the platform.

The photos showed people in swimwear, which is the dress code of the show, a heart-shaped ice sculpture, and inflatable pool floats.

In another photo, you see someone falling off of a mechanical bull.

Last year, Robbie made waves on the internet as she was spotted on camera happily meeting former Love Island contestants Michael Griffiths, Jordan Hame and Lucie Donlan on the red carpet at the premiere of Birds of Prey in London.

Per HuffPost, after taking several photos with the former cast of the reality show, Robbie went into Lucie Donlan’s DMs to invite the group to a post-film event. Eventually, the group headed back to Ribbie’s apartment for an after-party.


The series came back to screens two weeks ago, after being on hiatus for a year and a half due to the pandemic.

Love Island airs every evening except weekends at 9pm BST on ITV2.
