Robbie Williams live-tweeted the birth of his second child

US actress Ayda Field and singer husband Robbie Williams are celebrating the birth of their second child, a son.

How do we know this? Because Williams live-tweeted it.

In a series of bizarre/heart-warming (delete as applicable) videos the man who used to be in Take That documented his wife being in labour.

It started with some stilettos...

Then Field started dancing...

And Williams joined in by 'helping'...

Still helping...

Helping some more...

Then Field's waters broke...

And Williams started making jokes about the underwear he was wearing...

Then the helping went into overdrive...

Peak helping...

And then, 14 hours after the first tweet, Williams and Field announced the birth of their son...

The couple married in Los Angeles in 2010, where they live. Their first child, daughter Teddy Rose, was born in September 2012.
