This person just got the greatest Secret Santa ever from Bill Gates

Let's be honest Secret Santas aren't all they are cracked up to be.

Sure, it's a bit of fun, but at the end of the day, you are more than likely to end up with a cheap bit of tat that you never wanted in the first place.

Things would be a lot different if say, your Secret Santa just happened to be one of the richest and most intelligent individuals in the world.

Every year, the co-founder of Microsoft and world-renowned billionaire Bill Gates takes part in the Reddit Secret Santa event, where users send silly gifts to people they have never met.

It's all a bit of fun but every year one lucky person receives a haul of gifts from the philanthropist that put all other gifts to shame.

Last year he sent one person dozens of awesome video game themed gifts and he has outdone himself this year too.

VietteLLC was the Redditor who received Gates' gifts this time around and it's obvious by now that the Microsoft mogul goes above and beyond to give someone exactly what they want.

Viette, also known as Megan Cummins, loves cats, cat shelters, Doctor Who and The Dave Matthews Band among other things. You can imagine her surprise then when a huge box turned up at her house with the following photo inside:

According to her Reddit Gifts post, she was given.

• A huge Pusheen cuddly toy
• $250 donation to The Friends of Feline’s Rescue Group
• $250 donation to The Stray Cat Alliance
• $250 donation to Town Cats
• A Stormy stuffed animal (Pusheen's sister)
• A tiny Pusheen ornament
• A book on cat shelters
• Doctor Who cardboard Tardis for cats
• A $150 gift card to True Grit
• A miniature Austrian snow-globe with a tiny white kitten inside
• Commissioned, one-of-a-kind cross-stitch of me and my pal, Bill, and my 4 cats that says “Live Life in the Meow
• A business book (of course!)
• A Japanese Daruma
• Dave Matthews Band shirt 
• Dave Matthews Band Car Sticker
• Scroll of the map of Skyrim

Megan even described the moment that she learned that Gates had sent her all these wonderful presents.

In her Reddit Gifts post she says:

As Pusheen was being released from his box, I picked up a letter with a picture and thought it was SUPER weird that someone was so obsessed with Bill Gates as to send me a photo of him.

Then I just caught fragments of the letter all at once “a donation has been made” “bill gates”, and my cat’s names. It clicked and I started to burst out loud laughing and crying simultaneously. I was a cliché.

I read the letter about 39043 times and was reminded there was still a box of gifts. MORE!? But my life was already complete…

She even recorded a thank you video for Gates to show the extent of her gratitude.
