Liz Truss is on a roll today.
The secretary of state for international trade went viral earlier today for making an ill-received joke about the recent spat between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney to representatives from the Commonwealth.
Truss tweeted the transcription of her speech to international business leaders with the following caption:
For those of you worried about where we might have been at the WTO for 45 years, let me reassure you - Britain is back.
Many people quickly pointed out that the WTO was created in 1995, 24 years ago. Not 45 years ago.
Oh dear.
