First Boris Johnson got Snapchat, and now Liz Truss made an awkward joke about the recent Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy beef.
And people want it to stop.
Truss, a Conservative government minister is being dragged online after she attempted to put a joke about the embattled women, both wives of footballers, into a speech.

Speaking with representatives from the Commonwealth, the international trade secretary attempted to put together a joke about them, and its reliance to politics.
Truss said: "There has been a massive fall out between some very influential figures which has divided the nation.
There has been finger pointing, there has been blame shifting, and there has been denials.
But enough about Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy.
An abysmally small amount of people in the audience laughed, and then, ploughing ahead anyway, she continued:
For those of you who don't know, those are footballers' wives who engaged in an Instagram spat.
I just wanted to say British football is a fantastic export, is it not?
Um
Polite, slightly pained laughter followed, and the Internet collectively sighed.
Well, the meme was good while it lasted.
