“Brexit means Brexit”, “no deal is better than a bad deal”, “Brexit is going to happen on October 31”.
Over the course of the Brexit debate, politicians have made all kinds of nonsensical claims. It really is difficult to keep track.
One of the most ridiculous things about British politics over the last few years has been the various dates for leaving the EU. It was 31 March, then it became 31 October, and now it’s (allegedly) going to be 31 January.
