Britons want to ban Daylight Saving Time

Groggy and/or grumpy after losing an hour's sleep when the clocks went forward? Wishing the time didn't have to change at all? You are not alone.

Research from YouGov has found 40 per cent of Britons want to ban daylight saving time - compared to 33 per cent who want to keep it.

The majority of older Britons would like to abandon the practice, but younger people are more conservative about the issue.
