Don't ever ask Cate Blanchett about cats

Cate Blanchett had this to say to an interviewer who asked her about handling cats.

The actress was speaking to Australian reporter Jonathan Hyla while promoting her new film Cinderella.

Hyla first suggested they shared a beer - a mistake as Blanchett said she preferred vodka - then her asked her this:

Hyla: Serious question. How were you able to get that cat to do what you wanted to do on a leash. I try to put my girlfriend's cat on a leash and it just never works for me?

Blanchett: That's your question? That's your f**king question?

Hyla: You took up all our time talking about vodka!

Blanchett: Nice to meet you.

Although Blanchett didn't reveal how to control a cat on a lead, she did end the interview with a high five and a smile. You can see a clip of their exchange below:
