A new survey has revealed what we all wanted to know - where in the UK are people actually having the most sex?

BiggestFreeBets.com took up the heroic mantle of asking 2,500 Brits about how often they indulge per month...

According to the results, the horniest nook of England is in the north west, where the average person manages to get lucky 17 times a month.

That's more than four times a week.

The south east isn't doing too badly either, with 15 liaisons per month.

Midfield

In Northern Ireland and the Midlands, a healthy 14 sexual encounters per month was recorded, while Wales manages to stay in double digits with 10 times a month.

In Yorkshire, you can expect nookie eight times a month - or twice a week. Not bad.

Bottom

Disappointingly, London comes out as the City that Never Sleeps (With People More Than Seven Times a Month).

So much for the metropolitan elite.

And in Scotland, the survey reports a truly dismal average of four times a month.
