David Davis just fell off stage and it's a perfect metaphor for Brexit

Speaking in London on Tuesday morning, the Brexit Secretary David Davis took a bit of a tumble as he left the podium.

The incident happened on live TV; and in front of an audience of journalists at the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR), assembled for their 'Deal or No Deal' Conference in Central Hall, London.

No not that one.

Before his fall, Davis said that reaching a deal with the EU is the 'most likely' and 'best outcome'. But he left the door open to Britain falling out of the EU without a deal in March 2019 by adding that 'it is possible we will not get a deal'.

Talk about 'stumbling blocks' in the negotiations.
