Footage of a loyal pooch leading the fire brigade to its owner’s home, which was caught in a blaze, has gone viral.
The incredible clip captures a German Shepherd running at night at break-neck speed, so that his owner could be helped.

After indy100 did some digging, it turns out that this resurfaced footage was actually shot in Alaska in 2010. Alaska State Troopers ended up presenting a special award to Buddy, the German Shepherd that led authorities to a fire at his owner's property.
Thankfully, the owner suffered minor burns, which might have been thanks to Buddy’s instinctive response.
