Ladies and gentlemen, it's happened.

Foreign secretary Boris Johnson has finally assumed control of Britain. Kind of.

No, Johnson has not followed through with his Brexit coup d'état.

According to Downing Street, Theresa May is on a walking holiday in Switzerland for the week, and the Foreign secretary is the next most senior duty minister in Whitehall.

This man.

The man who rugby-tackled a ten year old boy...

The man who doesn't know how much a pint of milk costs...

The man with the brick(!)

Do you see where we're going with this?

However, before you dig out that Irish citizenship application you forgot about, according to Number 10, May is still very much in charge:

The Prime Minister... is constantly kept abreast of what is going on.

Well. That's good then.
