Eric Trump has claimed that his dad “literally saved Christianity” but not everybody agrees.
In fact, some people think the outlandish claim couldn't be further from the truth.

During a radio interview in North Dakota last week, the son of president Donald Trump claimed: “He literally saved Christianity, there's a war on faith in this country by the other side.”
He continued: “The Democratic Party, the far left, has become the party of the ‘atheist’, they want to attack Christianity, they want to close churches, they're totally fine keeping liquor stores open, but they want to close churches all over the country.”
But some Christians have other ideas.

These Christians found the claim so ridiculous that they shared their experiences of distancing themselves from their churches because of Trump.
