Football is a sport which is often criticised by those who follow rugby. "The players are soft", "the fans are abusive" and "there's no respect for the referee" being some of the most common tropes.

One woman has seemingly attempted to reset this balance, judging by her actions in the Challenge Cup semi-final game between Warrington and Wakefield on Saturday afternoon.

As referee Gareth Hewer ran towards the touchline to ask for help from the television match official, it was quite clear that she wasn't too happy with his performance.
