'Feminist zealots' just held a 'Have Your Cake and Eat It' bake sale in Philip Davies' constituency

Last Friday Conservative MP Philip Davies spoke at the International Conference on Men’s Issues, in which he criticised "feminist zealots" for a number of perceived transgressions, like "pointing out that women need special protections".

According to Davies, it’s all "politically correct nonsense" and one sentence in particular rubbed women completely the wrong way:

In this day and age the feminist zealots really do want women to have their cake and eat it too.

As you might expect, women (and men) really weren’t happy with the subtle sexism.

Consequently women bombarded his Twitter feed with pictures of them eating cake...

Well, it appears round two of the backlash has commenced...

Women in his constituency of Shipley held a “Have Your Cake and Eat It” bake sale on Wednesday.

All the "millitant feminists" got together...

...and ate some cake...

Smashed a bit of patriarchy in the process too...
