John Oliver took on Labour's pink bus and it was really quite wonderful

Labour’s pink bus tour of Britain has managed to attract the attention of John Oliver – who thinks the only way it could be more patronising is if "they refused to let women drive it".

After playing a clip of shadow equalities secretary Gloria de Piero describing the colour of the bus as "cerise" or "a version of pink" Oliver notes:

You can see her thinking ‘I’ve gone into politics to make a difference and now I’m on television desperately trying to act like I don’t know the colour pink. What happened to my life?’

Here's part of his suggestion of how Labour would try and make it up to women if they were trying to do damage control.
