On Monday Nigel Farage appeared on ITV’s The Agenda.

The interim Ukip leader spoke at length about Brexit, and eventually the topic moved to his new-found friendship with Donald Trump, and what would happen if the Republican became president following Wednesday's vote.

Presenter Robert Peston pressed Farage on working for Trump, and what his ideal role would be.

Eventually, Farage had an answer:

If he did offer me a job, I’d quite like to be his ambassador to the European Union.

Campaiged over ten years for the UK to leave the EU; now he wants to be US ambassador?

In the words of Professor Quirrell:

Farage followed the statement with raucous laughter.

Troll.

Troll. Troll. Troll.
