The 2010s were a decade of huge change for dating.

Gay dating app Grindr paved the way for Tinder, Bumble and Hinge, with an entire new lexicon of online terms like “ghosting” to describe the many, many cringeworthy moments that happen in the pursuit of romance.

Now we’ve waved goodbye to the 2010s, people have been sharing their worst dates of the last decade.

It all started when journalist Jono Read asked his followers for their worst stories.

And they certainly didn’t disappoint.
