Why this heartfelt message to Paris from Pakistani comedians has gone crazy viral

A group of comedians from Pakistan have put the jokes aside for the moment to send a heartfelt and poignant message to the people of France following last week's Isis terror attacks.

As you may know, on 13 November the French capital suffered barbaric acts of terror. And we'd like you to know that we're just as horrified as everyone else around the world...

We are completely praying for your safety and security. We actually are one of the few nations who completely understand what you guys are going through. Why? Because incidents like these are really common in Pakistan.

Their video has been shared more than 50,000 times on Facebook.

To Paris, From PakistanPlease share it as much as you can so it reaches the people in Europe!#PrayForParis #PrayForTheWorld House of Lolz

Less than a year ago, the Taliban massacred 132 children at an army-run school in Peshawar in the deadliest terror attack to ever hit Pakistan.

While all the attackers were Muslim, it wasn't Muslims to blame, the House of Lolz team point out. Doing so is like blaming all Germans for the crimes of the Nazis, or all Chinese people for Mao's barbaric policies.

Contrary to stereotypes, it is Muslim countries that bear the biggest brunt of terror attacks. Data from the Global Terrorism Index shows that over 80 per cent of global deaths from terror attacks occurred in just five countries - all of which have majority Muslim populations.

It's easy to blame incoming refugees en masse but you have to understand that they are running away from the same people who are carrying out these attacks.
