Jenna Ellis, one of Donald Trump’s attorneys, is *not* a fan of leftists and their pesky cancel culture.
The senior legal adviser and author of The Legal Basis for a Moral Constitution: A Guide for Christians to Understand America's Constitutional Crisis tweeted earlier this month:
Rather than encouraging diversity like they claim, Dems and leftists want to cancel everything and everyone they disagree with.— Jenna Ellis (@Jenna Ellis) 1592311801
She also tweeted about cancelling the stock market:
I guess we have to cancel the stock market too now. https://t.co/nQN3JgRFFt https://t.co/LptFIOnsxx— Jenna Ellis (@Jenna Ellis) 1592566424
Then cancelling Joe Biden:
Will the Leftists cancel Joe Biden? https://t.co/Gd8TzGPvBa— Jenna Ellis (@Jenna Ellis) 1592692827
And leftists wanting to cancel the Constitution:
In @BreitbartNews—We have to speak up for truth and for our rights. The only guarantee of our country is freedom.… https://t.co/7WWhIhOLEB— Jenna Ellis (@Jenna Ellis) 1592838709
So it’s safe to assume she’s aiming her most recent condemnation of cancel culture squarely at leftists.
Without context, Ellis said she will not “bend”, “waver” or “break” if “they try to force me to apologize or recant my Faith”.
In defence of her Christianity, she tweeted:
I’m going on record now: If they try to cancel Christianity, if they try to force me to apologize or recant my Fai… https://t.co/k9mtAemCyt— Jenna Ellis (@Jenna Ellis) 1592870060
The tweet caused many to claim the lawyer was trying to stoke some perceived “war on Christianity”:

@JennaEllisEsq Jenna, if there is ever a war on thought, I assure you, you won’t be drafted.— The Hoarse Whisperer (@The Hoarse Whisperer) 1592870453
@JennaEllisEsq "They?" Get back behind the curtains, drama queen. No one is doing anything to Christianity.— Kurt Eichenwald (@Kurt Eichenwald) 1592870349

Then people called out the double standard of being a Christian, but supporting Trump:

The tweet came about after Trump was accused of flaming the fire of racial tensions by sharing violent videos of Black men.
Some people thought he was trying to “incite hatred toward Black people” by sharing the videos.
