UN Women, the United Nations entity fighting for gender equality, has posted a bizarre tweet which has led to heavy criticism.
The post shows the word 'EQUALITY' and is surrounded by pointing emojis. It's a cute idea, however their choice of skin tones and their positioning has raised eyebrows.

Presumably whoever created the graphic was aiming for an aesthetically pleasing gradient, but the result is unfortunately poignant.
