Returning to work in any city after a major terrorist incident can often be a cause for concern or worry. However, with a visible police presence on public transport, Londoners returned to their day-to-day lives this morning.
One message of defiance that caught people's eye on their commute has struck a chord with many passengers, and is being shared across social media.
The message board at Tower Hill underground station had an important message for commuters that was apparently quite “hard to write”.
