What happens when you ask Alex Salmond about Match of the Day

Today in things that actually happened in British politics, we present the following (mildly sweary) Facebook exchange.

We were dubious about the veracity of this exchange after spotting it on social media, but an SNP spokesperson confirmed to i100 the conversation was real and had happened during a Q&A on Alex Salmond's Facebook page on Wednesday.

They spokesperson added Mr Stenhouse's reply was no longer visible as they hide posts from public on the page that contain swearing but you can view it here.
