Man thinks he's texting girl he fancies, turns out he wasn't and from there things escalated

We've seen a fair few examples of the wrong number being contacted recently and things getting out of hand and this one is no exception.

A man named Jon tried to get in contact with a woman named Lynn, who he was obviously interested in fooling around with (do the kids still call it that?).

The two chatted back and forth for a while and then they agreed to meet up, but first Lynn had to grab a shower.

For some reason, Jon thought it would be cool to ask Lynn for a shower selfie. A bit creepy, if you ask us.

Yet this is where Jon's plan fell apart at the seams as he wasn't talking to Lynn at all.

He was talking to a man named Michael Butane who led him on a wild goose chase, and it's fair to say that Jon wasn't happy at all.

Judging by his Twitter account, Michael has developed something of a habit of trolling creepy guys looking for a hook up.
