Lady Gaga is known for making controversial and exaggerated statements.
Remember when she wore the dress made from meat? Or repeated the infamous "100 people in the room" anecdote over (and over) again?
This time, Gaga took to Twitter to to share the view that "Fame is prison".
The songstress has previously explored the concept of fame in her first album The Fame.

But the tweet spawned an unlikely critic: Amanda Knox.
I hear you, but...prison is prison. https://t.co/5cclYYZxk7— Amanda Knox (@Amanda Knox) 1572009392
Knox, who was famously convicted-then-exonerated-then-convicted-then-exonerated-again for murder in Italy, served four years for the crime that she has always insisted she didn't commit. She quote-tweeted Gaga to hilariously correct her.
She wasn't the only one, as Gaga also got dragged by the dictionary.

Naturally, the exchange generated quite the reaction on Twitter.
