For some people, family can be a sensitive subject.
And this appears to be the case for Karlie Kloss, judging from her reaction to a contestant's remarks on the TV show Project Runaway.
The American supermodel is married to Josh Kushner, who just so happens to be the brother of Jared Kushner, senior advisor to US President Donald Trump. Kushner is married to Trump's daughter Ivanka.
Yes, this is a familial trail that leads all the way to the top (or bottom) of American politics. The Trumps are controversial figures and Kloss, who is a Democrat, usually keeps quiet about the connection.
But she couldn't escape the link on a recent episode of Project Runway, when contestant Tyler Neasloney suggested she wear his runway creation "to dinner with the Kushners".
“I cannot see Karlie wearing it anywhere, honestly.” “Not even to dinner with the Kushners?” #ProjectRunway https://t.co/O9qJbrC2ZN— Ξvan Ross Katz (@Ξvan Ross Katz) 1578058259
Yes, this is the face of someone who is taken aback:
Many people – and judging from her reaction, Kloss herself – have taken the comment as a dig:
Even Karlie recognizes that it was a good read. https://t.co/AlZyMrLJod— Ξvan Ross Katz (@Ξvan Ross Katz) 1578058652

Contestant Tyler Neasloney appears to have confirmed this intention himself:

And yes, Neasloney, whose runway outfit was criticised by Kloss for being the least innovative, was eliminated from the show.
Don't mess with Karlie Kloss, folks.
