After years of anticipation, pop fans are rejoicing across the world after a recording thought to be from Lady Gaga’s upcoming album leaked online.

The unreleased track, thought to be titled ‘Stupid Love’, has appeared online and people can’t help but assume it’s from Gaga’s upcoming sixth album. It sees the singer return to her roots: innovative, catchy pop that’s brimming with hooks. Think 'Artpop' era, but taken up a few thousand notches. Much more 'Why Did You Do That?' than 'Shallow' – in the best way possible.

Gaga hasn’t confirmed whether the leaked song will feature on her new album or be a single, but fans are obsessed with it regardless.

People think she's saved pop music.

Two new songs were registered to the GEMA music repertoire under Gaga's name, titled 'Chances' and 'Feels So Good!' They are both co written with rapper Ty Dolla $ign and Tobius Gad, a Los Angeles songwriter and producer. Both tracks feature songwriting credits from members of ex-British hip-hop group N-Dubz, including former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos.

The leak will be frustrating for Gaga and her team, but for entirely selfish reasons we're loving it and we can't wait to hear the rest of Gaga's new era.
