Ainsley Harriott’s hilarious good luck message to Tyson Fury goes viral in wake of boxing victory

On Saturday, British boxer Tyson Fury fought American Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas to retain the World Heavyweight Title.

Now, some are saying that Fury’s win was all down to enthusiastic good luck message from the legendary chef Ainsley Harriott.

Journalist Andy Ha posted the clip on Twitter with the caption: “Let’s be honest, Fury was never going to lose after this”.

In the video, former Ready Steady Cook host Harriott wished Fury good luck in his third bout with Wilder, telling the boxer to “go get him” in a Jamaican accent.

Not only that, but Harriott also broke out into song, giving a hilarious rendition of the Kaiser Chiefs’ song I Predict a Riot. Harriott then signed off with his signature laugh and told Fury to have a great time.

The clip has been viewed over 390,000 times on Twitter and it’s safe to say the people are loving it.

One person wrote: “Absolute box office Ainsley mate. He could read the phone book an have me floored.”

Another person said: “Easily the best video ever seen on this app.”

Someone else said: “There is something mesmerising about this.”

One person commented: “About to go to war with a 17 stone, heavy hitting brick s**t house and this legend sings to him like he’s off to Butlins for a over 30s weekender.

“National treasure the man.”

It looks like there will be a lot disappointed fans if Harriott doesn’t do this for Fury’s next fight.
