Melania Trump learns the hard way that you should never hold up a sheet of white paper

If you can rely on reddit for anything, it's a good Photoshop battle.

The dedicated subreddit fired up its engines for United States President Donald Trump's tour of Asia - specifically when First Lady Melania Trump met Akie Abe - the wife of Japan's Prime Minister Shinzō Abe.

The duo attended a calligraphy class of fourth graders at the Kyobashi Tsukiji elementary school in Tokyo on 6 November.

The two wrote characters that together meant "peace," as you can see in the image at the top of this article.

So reddit had some fun with it:

Donald Trump reportedly told the Emperor of Japan that mass shootings can occur "anywhere," responding to the recent mass shooting in Texas in which 26 were killed and 20 injured, despite Japan having some of the world's most stringent gun control policies.

In 2014 there were just six gun deaths in Japan, compared to 33,599 in the United States.
