You might have thought a cereal advert couldn’t be controversial – but you’d be wrong.
Nestle has faced confusion and criticism over its latest cereal ad. It features Cheerios, Shredded Wheat and Shreddies being poured into a bowl.
So far, so good.
But the cereal is poured into a bowl that already has milk in it.
That’s right – cereal is poured into a pre-milked bowl. All rules of physics and common sense are thrown out of the window.

A Nestle spokesperson said:
We didn't mean for the advert to confuse our consumers. We recognise that people like their favourite cereal in different ways and it's delicious whatever order you put the milk and cereal in.
Stand down everyone.Back to normalcy.
