Iskandar Puteri Fire and Rescue

A ten-foot snake was removed from a toilet by firefighters after it proved to be a pain in the bottom.

The slinky creature was making himself right at home in a toilet in Malaysia before the fire department was beckoned to come to take it away. Seven firefighters were sent to the home in Gelang Patah, an outskirt of Iskandar Puteri.

The huge slider was only discovered after he had bitten the resident of the house on the bum, a rather rude way to enter someone’s house, if you ask our opinion.

Khairi Zainudin, the chief of the brigade said, “The python was successfully caught using a snake pole and has since been released from the housing area. Snakes usually come out during this hot season to spot for cool and wet spots.”

The snake was rescued by the local fire department

A toilet would actually fit that description perfectly so it would be believable to think this does happen often.

Of course, it is not an ideal situation as no one wants to find an unwanted visitor like that inside their toilet.

Believe it or not, it is not the only recent snake related incident in the suburbs of Iskandar Puteri.

In the suburb town of Skudai, firefighters were called to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia to find and remove a three metre cobra from underneath a stairway.

Local fire chief Riduan Akhyar said they got a call about the matter at 7.40pm and deployed 10 firefighters, a fire engine and an ambulance and that “the cobra was caught and released to far a safe location.”

Let’s just hope that no more locals get any unwanted surprises during their most private of moments.
