If you need evidence that Donald Trump is feeling the strain at the moment, take a look at his epic Twitter rant on Tuesday and Wednesday.

His ramblings covered a variety of subjects which ranged from being confused about Google algorithms:

The 2026 World Cup:

And 'consumer confidence':

Yet, of all these rants the most peculiar and above all tiresome has to be Trump revisiting the old 'Hillary Clinton and her dodgy emails' debate.

In a new spin on the story, Trump this time decided to blame China on the controversial emails, who he claims hacked the account and called on the FBI and Department of Justice to investigate (along with other cases) otherwise "their credibility will be forever gone!"

He also said: "Are they sure it wasn't Russia (just kidding!)?"

Furthermore, Trump may have taken this story from the controversial right-wing website The Daily Caller.

This bold claim comes without any evidence and is perhaps an attempt to distract from the fact that, in July, the U.S. federal grand jury indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers for hacking into the networks of Clinton and the Democratic Party during the 2016 election.

Robert Mueller is currently investigating Russia's involvement in the election and whether there was any collusion between them and the Trump campaign.

What Trump is trying to achieve here is unclear. Perhaps he's trying to distract from the ongoing turmoil in the White House or continue his never-ending war of words with China.

Either way, the good people of Twitter let the president know that his statement might be incorrect.

A few people pointed out that Trump may have got this story from The Daily Caller and how harmful that might be.

Speaking of emails...
