David Taylor's 212-mile long, 40-mile wide, bicycle-shaped route around the New Forest and Bournemouth took him 13 hours to complete.
As he explained to Cycling Weekly, he carefully plotted the route before undertaking the ride last month but "actually missed some turns so had to redesign as I went".
He went on: "Still, you can see what it’s meant to be."
